San Diego and Los Angeles
There is not too much to say about San Diego- the House Of Blues was very corporate feeling, we played well but not spectacular, and immediately after our set we had to drive Los Angeles so we could make an early radio thing.
Waking up in Marina Del Rey, we headed to the NPR station KCRW to record their Morning Becomes Eclectic live show. The station was full because of a pledge drive, so we recorded remotely from a very famous studio called The Village Recorders. I sat in Mick Jagger’s chair and got to see a vocal tracking room designed by Stevie Nicks so that she wouldn’t have to talk to the rest of Fleetwood Mac.
Our show itself was great. In LA, we must play well because half the audience is made up of people that own a stake in our band somehow.
